Mallory stared at her computer screen. Her
flowing foxy brown hair framed her cream face almost perfectly in long waves
onto her magenta silk blouse. She just got off the phone with her now ex-boyfriend. She was still trying to
process her mixed feeling on the subject. She certainly wasn’t the one who
called it off. The man had money, insisting on always paying for everything, her family and
friends liked his company, and frankly he was great kisser, knowing how to please a girl behind closed doors. She
wasn’t going to deny that she was a little sad from the call; but then again,
the man was known to float from girl to girl, unable to be tamed down for a
period over three months long. She was secretly hoping she was the one who could break the spell and have him hook, line, and sinker.
Mallory finally was able to move her brown eyes
laced with long thick black lashes, down to her calendar and noted the date. Yup,
almost exactly three months – two days short. A smirk formed on her face. She was going
to miss that man that was for sure. Jackson raised the bar a mile high and all the
poor fellas after him had a huge bar held above them to achieve and the likelihood
of them meeting it was slim to none.
Mallory took a deep breath before focusing back to
her computer screen where she needed give the house listing her full attention.
Hmmm....another word for small? Cozy and charming......
